Born in Kazakhstan, Tevfik Arif is a world-renowned real estate developer. Arif studied international economics at the Moscow Institute of Trade & Economics. After leaving university Arif served as chief economist and deputy head of the Hotel Management Department at the Soviet Ministry of Commerce & Trade

After the break-up of the USSR, Tevfik Arif began his career in property management.

Tevfik Arif has held a number of positions during his illustrious career, including that of chief economist and deputy director of the Ministry’s Department of Hotel Management in the former Soviet Union (FSU).
